Nostalgic Dolphin is a design studio. We are experts in branding, typography, and UI/UX design with 15 years of experience. That means top-notch craft and a deep understanding of how design works in real life. From the cognitive and emotional context in which your brand will be perceived (macro-scale) to the nitpicking technical details like Bezier curve quality or optical corrections at 2000% zoom (micro-scale). And everything in between.
Our strategy is to have satisfied repeat clients who can solve all their graphic design needs in one place. Besides the niece areas of our expertise, we have rich experience working on diverse projects for screen and print. It is easier to achieve goals with skilled professionals like us on your side.

Our clients appreciate our responsible approach, high-end visual and technical standards, attention to detail, and professional attitude toward costs and deadlines. But even more — the way we communicate. For an online business like this one, it plays a vital role.
For example, we understand and highly appreciate your decision to drop us an initial mail. It is an invisible but long journey you traveled to make that choice, wondering “Who are these people / what do they offer / are they proficient and reliable / are they too expensive?” Our job is to understand your position, give informed answers, and ask proper questions. The design part is one of the many things our clients had to sort out to run their business successfully. But naturally, it is the most important part for us. That is why we are even more focused on the quality of the final work than our clients.

We work directly with clients, or with agencies when they need our expertise in their teams. The studio was founded by Igor Petrovic, who collaborates with other colleague creatives depending on the type and scale of the project.
Igor graduated in architecture in 2009, and right after getting a master’s degree, he turned to graphic design. In 2013 he started to study type design thoroughly and finished a dozen font projects. Articles that he publishes on our blog reflect his inclination to systematize practical findings in theoretical form. He never formally studied philosophy or psychology, but analytical and critical thinking is the core of his personality that is reflected through all other professional and creative activities. Ethics and metaphysics are the philosophical disciplines that preoccupy him the most. Aside from this, he is a music maker and audio producer (indie / gothic / synth pop).
